Used Boat Review, (UBR),( a product of L.I.M.F.R.), was started by Marine Repair professionals and repair experts who were frustrated by the expensive and tedious process of trying to figure out what are the typical things that break and need to be repaired on a boat by make, model and year. We created Used Boat Review to provide boat owners, purchasers and marine underwriters with accurate, unbiased, and useful Used Boat Reviews.
UBR offers a stress-free, time-saving method of obtaining relevant common issues and problems conscientious consumers need by Make, Model and Year boat. UBR’s unique system relies on multiple sources of difficult-to-acquire proprietary data that has never before been available to consumers.

Our Methodology is sound and comprehensive. We use the data that we have gathered over the years by working on specific Makes, Models and Years. We also get other repair industry professionals data, industry data, company data, use data, manufactures data. Our in-house researcher then combs through the repair information.
Our proprietary model generates common problem details by make, model and year. We use advanced statistical techniques on thousands of real-world data points—gained through surveys and analyses of actual repair details—to refine and test our model. We combine the model’s output with our proprietary database.
